Today's menu:-

Breakfast - Pain au chocolat
Lunch - Tesco light choices meal (oh the irony)
Afternoon tea break - 1 slab of shortcake half dipped in white chocolate
Afternoon tea break (cont) - 2 x apricot danishes
Dinner - pasta bake that my dad had cooked when I went to pick up Little Tiggs
30 mins ago - 2 toast wth laughing cow triangles and strawberry jam

Having had 2 weeks off I went back to work on Monday to find a huge pile of work waiting for me. It has been an exhausting week and I'd had enough of the diet by this morning.

PS. I'm too ashamed to put this in Weight Loss & Dieting and I know I'll get told off.

Lol Haysi, no.
Och well don't beat yourself up, it's stressfull enough going back to work never mind being faced with a huge pile of work. Have a wee cake to unwind :) x
Reminds me of my friend who was dieting, and asked for a Diet Coke - oh, and a Mars Bar....
You should have fruit/veggies in your diet - go get some chocolate covered raisins. :-)
..or chocolate dipped strawberries - or ...
Question Author
Well it had to be done but nw I'm kind of regretting it. Trouble is I went up to the canteen just as it was closing and bought the shortcake and the lady serving me, who I regularly chat to, gave me the 2 apricot danishes for free. She said that once they close they'll only throw them in the bin. What a waste!

Lol Wolf & Box!

*now (not nw)
One day off a week is probably good for you anyway. You'll be back on it tomorrow :c)
I picked up Frankie to give him his medication and have managed to pull a muscle in my arm - not saying that he is a fat cat or anything...

He is just his mummy's boy - big belly and heavy bones.
Question Author
Hope so CD :o)

Tigger used to be a chunky puss Wolf. She had a big belly but since the diabetes she has lost a lot of weight and her belly just sags now. she is getting better though and we are in a good routine with the insulin injections and she doesn't try to scratch my eyes out when I got to inject her anymore :o)
Hi Tigger, well I porked out myself today although not on a diet...

Four pieces of chicken breast (two hot, two southern fried)
Mushy peas with cooked ham
and three Nice biscuits.

not too bad...hmmm but all sloshed down with buckets of lager.
Question Author
Doesn't sound to bad Arky, at least you didn't eat 4 sweet pastry/biscuity things laden with sugar and fat! lol
Nobody is perfect tigger. Lunch was a success. Try again tomorrow. Best wishes.
Question Author
Definitely sort it out tomorrow Daisy, just feeling a bit sick at the moment and also have a bit of heartburn.
Tigger, Well if you take what number of food I wrote and then double it would be a more honest answer ;-)

I don't have a sweet tooth so unlikely to have had the pastries... however a few Cornish pasties... and by now I wouldn't be able to move.
Awww we all do it tigger!! Lol!

I ate a full bag of mini eggs yesterday without even a drink!!! And a mcdonalds :0/

Stuff it. Sometimes i just need it xxx
Question Author
Well in that case Arky.........Lol

I know Tinks, I'm just going to pay for it on the scales toorrow morning. Actually, sod the scales, I won't weigh myself tomorrow. No point in depressing myself further! lol
Great attitude tigger - sod the scales. Life's too short not to have have a wee blow out now and again.
Question Author
