Best laptop with touchpad

Has anyone bought a laptop recently with a decent touchpad. I have an imac but would really like a laptop for downstairs that I could play bridge on during the day. It would sit on my lap so would need a decent touchpad as I do not want to attach a mouse. Not possible to put the imac downstairs not enough room. Really do not want to pay for the mac air laptop, although I know it has a really easy touchpad. For what I want it for just not worth paying out that sort of money. Any comments much appreciated.

i have a dell....touchpad is fine but i always use a wireless mouse with a nano

Have you not considered an android tablet pc ..? No mouse, and most of them are more than capable of playing cards. You can also check your emails and browse the net.

I have an Acer Aspire 5742 with in my opinion a very usable touch pad.

Thanks people, I shall probably have a look at the acer as I need java to play on the online bridge website.
