Take the labels off, put them in the wardrobe for a few weeks...and then say "what, this old thing"
Question Author
Mazie, I do that and on occasion I have almost convinced Mr O he has early onset dementia!
Yes, but OH does it too!
I used to but divorced now...I wouldn't do it again.

My oldest son was teling me about his wife's handbag addiction and wanted to know why they need to go into quarantine at the bottom of the wardrobe for a month. :)
No, never... I do remove the price/label before I wear them but never so man hostage doesn't see them.

The only thing I think he was ever totally astonished about was how much I once paid for a new hair style and colour. Which actually is understandable.
To be honest mrs_0.....mine wouldn't know if I was wearing an old potato sack, so I don't really know why I bother :o)
No, I don't bother with clothes/shoes.

I do tend to be more secretive over the antique nick nacks that I buy though.
My Mum did this all the time, probably because my Dad was a tight git.
Yep, guilty as charged.
Never but then I'm buying it with my own money.
Yes, have done this too, though maybe I should show them up front as I nearly always buy clothes in the sales so he would see how much money I SAVED!!
I am also buying with my own money but still do it. Even things I buy for him I take the price off and mumble about not remembering if he asks.
Try the charity shops, the price labels are well gone!
no i never did that because the o/h wouldn't have cared how much i spent... my money, my choice...
I spend my time on the bus getting rid and binning them in the nearest litter bin.
I tell him everything is bar-coded these days :-D
I sometimes cut the size label out. Trouble is then if I want to get another while stocks are in, I cant remember what size it is LOL
Nope, I buy mine, he buys his
In fact a lot will be going to the charity shop with price tags still on, never worn :-(
l always did it and sneaked the bags indoors ! now its parcels from e bay bit more difficult when they knock on the door with them !
I do it as soon as i get in, otherwise if he knows what i spend on myself, he won't give me any money towards housekeeping, he says i waste it. I only spend my own wages on me and my kids.
