Underwear?

OK, all the usual pervs shouldn't get too excited about this question...

I've got a wedding in a couple of months and I'm looking for suggestions/recommendations about figure shaping underwear. Just looking for something that will smooth out the post-baby lumps and bumps a bit. I don't want to look like a badly stuffed sausage, just make my lardy bits a bit less lumpy.

Any ideas? (Other than drastic surgery?)

I think I'm going to have to undertake an expedition to the big smoke to try on various types.

Tenner says I cry in the first changing room and go with Sher's suggestion of something floaty.

;-)
Sounds painful!!!
Wear your normal underwear, just buy a dress that fits ;o)
Just get something you feel nice in so you can enjoy the day. Don't worry about any lumpy bits, you wouldn't have your lovely kids without them (there's not much of me but my stomach is never going to be the same again, but luckily I don't go anywhere posh and I don't really care!).
The title, I mean, wordfan. But I was thinking of beginning the title with the letter K.

Elvis, it's not about trying to squeeze into a dress one size that's small, it's about smoothing out the lumpy bits.

I'll just dazzle everyone with my impressive cleavage and nobody will notice my "mothers apron"...
"Knickers Cracked and Backed"
I think I would go for the dress and VPLs on the underwear

*a dress that's too small*

(Computer brain fart)
I'd go floaty - my niece bought the slimming down underwear for a wedding, she had to take it off partway through, she started to feel sick....
Wordfan :)).

Night night spoony fans.
That sounds fine, just not too much cleavage though

There's a point, boxy. I will need/want to eat at some point.

You can tell I don't get out much!

Elvis, I'll try and keep the cleavage respectable. No-one likes an overly-booby wedding guest.

(Well, apart from some ABers, I'm sure...)
Writing as a man who waited by the fitting rooms while my BH tried things on yesterday I think the simple sari should be compulsory for these occasions.
Problem solved 2sp, nothing wrong with a few lardy bits anyway, just as long as its a few!

Mr P seems to quite like all my wobbly bits, so I suppose that's enough for me!

Thanks everyone!
my advice is to get things (both undearwear and outerwear) that are actually your size (that you actually are, not that you'd like to be) So many people squeeze themselfs into too-small clothes hence all the lumpy bits (i particularly hate women who wear bras too small and look like they have 4 boobs)
