Has anyone ever used this company? I have just paid for something by credit card, no 'Thank You' page, no reference, no email confirmation .... Are they OK??

I bought some 'relatively' expensive jewellery off them a few years ago, was really poor with regards to information and being kept up to date with order status but everything did turn up as promised eventually!

If moneysavingexpert site is anything to go by, expect to wait some time for your order.
Incidentally, it's a good idea to check BEFORE you place an order!!

Thanks that is interesting, I will keep my fingers crossed. By the way they added, as well as post and packing, a tax charge ! On a £44 item the tax was £7. What would this be for?

I think that they may have just shown the part of the purchase that was VAT. If the total was £44 ish then £7 was VAT.

They should add VAT before shouldn't they, and I am a bit worried as I have had no confirmation email from them.

Yes, they shouldn't quote a price and THEN add on VAT. That would be like the States where they add sales tax onto the price stated.
Hope all goes well- looks like you'll need to wait a bit, though!

Had a reply from them today to the email I sent, all seems OK so we will see.

That you have better contact with them. via emails, phone calls, voicemails, answerphones there's a lot out there re contact. Thank your lucky stars it wasn't more money you spent.

Just cancelled the order, which never arrived. Lets hope I get my refund ....

Well I got my refund, no problem, but they really need to sort themselves out. I won't be buying .. Or trying to buy ... From them again. Customer service was good though, at least they answered all my emails.
