I had one as a little girl, I used to flick the ballerina and watch her face bounce off the box, lol ;)

I bought one for my mum one back in the late '60s the ballerina danced to "Lara's Theme" from Dr Zhivago.When she died it went to my niece,mums eldest granddaughter and to this day it has pride of place in her sitting room.Cheap as chips when I bought it but now one of my nieces most valuable possessions.

Thing 1 has never wanted anything in particular, but she has gone on about it all day. I gave her a Minnie Mouse watch (they were all having a thing about telling the time) and she wants to keep it in a jewellery box. I have no idea where she has seen the one she describes.

I've got one, it's white leather and two tiered, my late husband bought it for me not long before he died. Wouldn't part with it for the world.
