I have seen them for sale in men's clothes shops. I cant believe some men actually wear them. They are just like a big baby grow for immature men.

a fit strapping lad wearing one, showing of his pecs, I could just about live with.

But the sight of a middle=aged man wearing one out in public, would result in a point and laugh at.

It may be a generational thing... at least here in the U.S. I haven't seen them (on or off) for years, but my grandfather used to wear them. In actuallity they are only "long-johns" cut off at mid thigh and available long or short sleeved.

Most of his generation (and later) preferred long underwear... especially in the winter.

Whilst I do not own one I can see they may be useful, layered one on top of the other, whllst one is putting off having to switch on the heating for the 8½ months of winter.
