Unusual Miners Lamp Being Sold On Ebay

my hubby likes these as his dad and his grandad were both heavily involved in the mines, he hasn't got hundreds but has a few and prefers the unusual, so are there any experts out there who know a bit more than me as I have caught him looking at one on ebay (seller is 2946audrey) item from durham and think it might be just what I am looking for, thanx

Because they're so popular and so evocative, there are a score or more replicas or fakes for every real one.

We have a real one, it's the actual one my dad used and it still has his tally on, he got it when he was made redundant
