A Name For This Urge

Sorry to bring up such an odd subject, but it’s only come about because of (would you believe) music.
Tons of years ago a friend and I did the engineering work for a band who wanted to record a couple of demo tracks. The title of one song, we later learned, was the name given by psychologists to a specific phenomenon. It’s when a person, in a kitchen with another person, takes a knife from the drawer for quite innocent culinary purposes but imagines, for a moment, stabbing the other. It’s a very fleeting thought and, typically, the person has absolutely no violent tendencies at all and would never consider doing such a thing.
This ‘thing’ has a specific name and I’ve been racking my brains, unsuccessfully, to remember. There is something called misophonia, but that’s not it. The song title consisted of two words.
I must stress this is of vocabulary interest only! It’s just that, a few days ago, something reminded me of the recording session and that led to me trying to remember the song title.

It's definitely two words. The band was quite art house in style (the singer was trying to be like David Sylvian!) and the title felt like it had a very 'arty' name.
