Amazon Subscribe And Save

Has anyone used this? Does it work...meaning is it reliable?
For the item I'm considering, it states there is no postage charge involved...a necessary consideration as Amazon seems to have raised their minimum purchase for free delivery...grrrr

i use it and its excellent. Odd times something is out of stock for my delivery, they have always given me plenty of notice so I can source it elsewhere.I also like the skip a delivery option because my dogs eat a bit less than a sack of dog food a month so when I get a backlog I just skip the dogfood delivery for that month. I found it really good, and saved me money, they always tell you in advance the going price for the item so you can decide what you want to do

Amazon prime really isn't worth it to me,as I'd only want it for next day delivery and not the movies,etc. Since becoming an eBay addict,I don't use Amazon as often as I used to.
I'll give the Suscribe and Save some thought...thanks all.
