I've got three raised beds, approx 3 x 6 feet. I've used them to grow veg for the last few years. This year, however, the work has become something of a chore, and I think from next year I'll plant up some shrubs. Can you suggest plants that would look good when grouped together. Any suggestions welcome. I'm off to work in a while, so probably won't be back on till morning- I'm not ignoring you. Thanks again.

(It looks complicated but you don't have to complete all of the fields; just use the ones which are important to you).
Buddleia shrubs are pretty. You can get them in varieties if pink, white and purple. What I like about this shrub is the fact it also attracts bees and butterflies.
Sweet peas aren't shrubs but they are very pretty and have a luscious scent. They would look great climbing up a trellis be find your shrubs! :)
What about some herbaceous perennials...Orange heleniums, yellow rudbeckia, blue agapanthus, shocking pink phlox, red kniphofia, white echinacea, pink persicaria, purple stachys hummelo.
Mix with various early and late scented daffs and some tulips.
get the dwarf versions of hebe..azalea ..rhodo..bud..don't plant too many or it will get overcrowded...leave a wee front strip to put annuals in then you can change a wee bit when you want..but it is important to plant dwarf only...
If its a fairly sunny spot, I would go for Lavender 'Hidcote'.
I've been admiring some of these in a raised bed for several weeks and the amount of bumble bees they attract are just incredible!
