Touchpad Sensitivity - Is There A Way To Control It Even More Than With Normal Settings?

I have been using an Asus X550 on win10 for a while and am every used to and like the way the touchpad works
i now have a HP inspiron 15, on win10 - and the touchpad is doing my head in.

it is slow to respond, often having to redo movements before it reacts, it just feels like its not as responsive as the other

I have already adjusted the settings numerous times to try to test out - but nothing increases its sensitivity - it is just very annoying and frustrating

its is not something i will get used to (ive tried) because its not just different, it just doesnt do what its supposed to do half the time

any ideas of what else i can try?
is there any software that can enhance control?
