Itunes Not Syncing
1 Answers
I had itunes on my pc and the tower broke and as i had a laptop i downloaded itunes onto it, it synced the songs i had previously downloaded from the itunes store but i had to manually add all the music cd's. I now have another pc and when i downloaded itunes onto it no music has transferred onto pc. i am wondering if this is because you can't have itunes on both laptop and pc at the same time and if this is the reason would i just remove itunes from my laptop and try removing from pc then download again

Have you signed in to itunes on the new computer and authorised it? (Look in the itunes menus and you should find these options).
Once authorised you can then download your past purchases.
There is a share library option - never used it myself, so not sure if you could pull the cds that you have manually added onto the laptop across to the new pc.
If you have a big enought usb drive or an external hard disk you can copy the files across that way - Apple giv instructions on how to move your itunes library from one comouter to another - that would work and then you'd have the music on both computers.
