Until this last year I was able to buy a shampoo by Schwartzkopf called Touch of Silver. On my grey hair it an attractive lilac colour, quite light. Now touch of silver is made by a firm called Pro-voke, and is not at all the same, it is a pale purple colour when it comes out of the bottle, but turns colourless when used, and my hair stays a miserable grey. Does anyone know if it is still possible to buy, and what is it called now. I don't want to get my hair coloured professionally.

As I read it, the problem wasn't getting hold of it, it was that some other company name is branding it, and it seems different.

Maybe try ebay or one of the on-line chemists - Chemist direct, Pharmacy fix or Express chemist.

This is a link to one on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/THREE-PACKS-of-Schwarzkopf-Touch-Of-Silver-Twice-Weekly-Treatment-Shampoo-/222159644166

Sorry, don't know what happened there.
Apologies if this is the same link, but I wondered if perhaps you use the intensive conditioner and the brightening shampoo which has toning violet pigment. If you decide to buy through ebay, scroll through, as sometimes the prices can be quite different for the same thing.

If you've a branch of Savers near you they sell all the Touch of Silver products.

Still the same in Savers or our local £1 shop.

I use this one, also buy it from Amazon..make sure its not the conditioner your using and regular shampoo.
