Went to Asda this morning, got everything I needed. They even had bog roll. At the till, they wouldn't let you have more than three of anything which in my opinion should have been implemented from the very beginning. Goodness knows what will happen if total lockdown comes in though, people still have to shop.
What I forget to mention is that they were handing-out bunches of flowers to any NHS staff. I guess they were ones which hadn't been sold due to the odd Mothering Sunday situation but, nevertheless, a nice gesture.
I've found it's a bit better but still no toilet roll. Chilled were a little depleted. Wanted a chicken for tomorrow but all gone. I bought a boxed frozen chicken breast with stuffing in the end.
just back from medium-sized Sainsburys, no toilet roll, not even ordinary tissues for noses. Not a lot of alcohol left either. Food supply okay, though. It wasn't rammed but quite a few people in there and I couldn't social-distance the whole time.
Paracetamol is getting hard to find, though, and it's the only painkiller my OH can tolerate.
What surprised me on my way home was an ice cream van was going round. It went into a turning with its music blaring, I didn't think that would happen.
