Unusual, problem, never had this before. Says in my selling list that I had a bid on an item, which ended today. Now the item has gone into my Unsold items, although it still says one bid. Impossible to email eBay. So have I sold it or not ???
Sign in to eBay between 0800 and 2200 tomorrow. Then go here https://contact.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ContactUsNextGen and ask a vaguely relevant question. (It doesn't really matter how you're question is worded; you're just trying to get to the phone call link). Scroll to the foot of a relevant page and you'll find the 'Have us call you' option. You should then be able to speak to someone at eBay UK, at their expense.
Maybe you allso restrict it to UK bidders? My account specifys UK only as theres been what seemed like some dodgy buyers from overseas. Maybe it was an overseas bidder
For years I wouldn't post out of the UK .. but since The Global Shipping programme came about. I only ever use UPS to the shipping centre .. once it gets there, it is no longer your problem when it leaves the UK.
I am having the same problem from the buyers point of view. I bid on three items which ended this evening, and although the listings say I won the auctions, there is no 'Pay Now' to click on, nor have I received the usual email to confirm the win.
I'll wait until tomorrow morning to see what happens.
Lots of sellers will now be using the New Payment System, wherby there will be various new ways to pay. Ebay are parting company with Paypal and everyone will need to swap to the new system by the end of the year.
I have managed to pay one seller - I sent them a message to explain what's happening, then as soon as did that, the Pay Now appeared. So was that as a result of sending the message? Or coincidence? And will it appear as sold to the seller? Crazy.
When a listing ends Ebay usualy send an automatic 'Pay Now' email, but that would arrive instantly after a listing ends.
When no payment has been received from the buyer, the seller can send their own invoice to chivvy the buyer up.
Not having swapped over to the new system at this point, I am unfamiliar with the new process.
Expect it will take a bit of getting used to .. on both sides.
I emailed the second seller just to see what happened - nothing except the message was sent, or so it said; then I got the automatic email from the third auction, for which I have now paid (I hope). Perhaps there's an almighty overload this evening and the system is sorting itself out slowly.
