I am still searching for my furniture suite - just visited a furniture shop again the other side of town. There is a suite I sorta like but I definitely would want a more puffier suite.

This is an example of the suite I would like especially the puff arms but I do not like the idea of the "movable" back cushions.

Would it be easy enough for the upholsterer to do this. Thanks

sorry - misunderstanding here. I was in a different shop on the other side of town and saw an ok suite that I half like so came home and I was googling and as I have said this is the suite I definitely would like. I will ring the shop tomorrow

I would think that fixing cushions it probably one of the easier jobs, but probably still expensive.

well if the cushions can be "fixed" I would willingly pay that little extra providing suite is comfy. might get a race over tomorrow

I think most suites come in either fixed or scatterback versions.

If it's anything like over here, they will only make the sofa as it comes. Youd have to then get an upholsterer to make the changes you want

I prefer the fixed back versions. A friend ordered a sofa from a local shop but it had to be made in and delivered from China! It took months, in the meantime the shop went bust & he had to renegotiate the finance agreement with another lender - hassle.

Like Kath says. They usually do both versions.

It’s a very traditional suite jj . Why not pop into IKEA and maybe choose a more modern suite. Wont cost a fortune and you could change it after a couple of years ?

well called over to the above mentioned link shop - - exactly as I would like as in design but hard as hell.

when it comes to suites - softness and comfortability comes absolutely first. and so off I go again to look.

wish I could get a suite exactly made for me. My sister has old suite but my god it just feels just wonderful - you could die in it.
