Can anyone recommend a good pepper/mill grinder please.

I don`t know if you are looking for a fancy one but last year I bought Cole and Mason Harrogate Inverter salt and pepper mills. They are best ones I`ve had. I was always throwing them away before that. Because they are upside down you don`t get spilled salt and pepper in the cupboard either.

I've hunted high and low for the elusive best salt and pepper mills and I've yet to find them. I've resigned myself to buying new ones at least once a year.

I'd had battery operated ones which broke. Had this a couple of years now it's easy to operate and easy to fill

My mine gripe is the adjustable grind size. It all ends up being fine in the end and I sometimes like a bit of texture, especially when cooking steak.

I buy pre filled clear plastic ones from supermarkets, cost £2 each, salt or pepper. I like them because they’re the upside down type so you don’t get bits on the worktop, cupboard or table.

I use those, too, Vagus, and they are refillable. Cheap enough to chuck when they need replacing

The best I've had are the ones I've got now. Battery operated...from Lidl. Maybe £4 -5 each?

Agree Peugeot, I recently got a salt & pepper pair as a present, you can easily adjust the size of the grain they produce.
