I've got some slightly out of date designer clothes I don't want. I'm a bit broke at the moment and was hoping to make a little bit of money from them. Are there any places that might be prepared to buy them off me, even if it's for a fraction of what they cost? Preferably in London!

google Dress Agencies in your post code area, a dress agenct will sell your clothes for you at an agreed price and keep a percentage for their touble.

Brilliant! Thanks for that - I've found one!

Why give a dress agency a large percentage? The ones near me sell designer clothes for approx 25% of the original price, and keep 50 - 75% of that amount.

Have a look on ebay at what similar clothing sells for. You'd probably get much more than you would from an agency.

Ok, some shameless promotion coming up please forgive me! Another alternative is to sell them online as solarjunkie suggests. My fella has just launched a new fashion website on which you can buy and/or sell online. Check it out! www.mohina.com
