Blood spattered surgeon (in gown)
Vampire (cloak and make-up)
Pirate (striped shirt and eyepatch)
Neptune (green wig, green cloak and trident)
I've had lots of success with my own costumes, however, I usually start thinking about it four months in advance and put a lot of effort (and usually money) into it!
My ex husband once attended a fancy dress party as Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hyde. The whole of his right side was dressed as a doctor. (White coat/specs/brylcreamed hair), whilst the left side of his body was the monstrous Mr. Hyde. (Hairy, neanderthal face and hand/black tail coat/top hat tilted to left)
He wore the black frock coat and I cut a long, white lab coat in half and stitched it over the top of the right side of his frock coat. That was the only difficult part, the rest was very easy. How good are you with a needle and thread?

My sister won a prize dressed as a corpse in a body bag. She wore one of those black suit protector bags with the zip up the front, having slit along the bottom so she could walk. She zipped it up to just under her chin and painted her face kind of...dead looking! she cut a slit in each side behind the seam for her arms to go out when she needed! Very easy and very effective.
I love the Chest of Drawers - LMAO
Cheap mask of a pig -
staple brown paper into a bag big enough to cover you body (or even utilise a bin bag ) wearing leggings and t-shirt of course -
be a 'Pig in a Poke'.......
Or a dark jumper and leggings - and blow up some green balloons and stitch them all around your jumper -
you are now a bunch of grapes.........
(of course every one will come up to you and burst them - be prepared....)
