Wedding Invitations
4 Answers
Hi, I am getting married in 8 weeks and am looking for a printer to do my evening invitations. All I want is a plain A6 ivory card with gold lettering, but I cant seem to find anyone who can do it, its all pre-designed expensive stuff or business type things.....help!

Even if there aren't any printers/stationers there, ask around the exhibitors...they may be able to recommend someone.
Or ask at the places you're dealing with for the rest of your wedding - photographer, cake decorator, dress maker, etc. they may know someone.
or put 'wedding invitations' into Google and limit it to UK sites only. it may take a while search the results...but i'm sure someone can do them for you.
good luck!

Could you not do them yourself, you can get a reasonable gold print using Word or Publisher, obviously it will not be shiny like a printer could do it. There are lots of small cottage industry people now that have changed from cardmaking to doing wedding stationery, although you would expect to see samples and the timescale might be a bit close or not possible, but try doing a search on Google and see what you get. If you need help with getting the gold print on Word etc I would be happy to give you instructions, just post back again on here if so.
