Not sure if this is in the right section but didn't know where else to put it. I'm going to my cousins' wedding this weekend and would like to know if it is correct to send the card BEFORE the wedding and take the present to the reception or not. PLEASE help me.

As you`re going to the wedding you can give the card to the bestman. You could take the presant to the reception, but I would try to get it to them some other way. If the couple are going away after the reception, someone will have to take care of the gift for them. Enjoy yourself.
I've always taken cards & presents to wedding receptions.

However, if it's a very large gift, it might be best to drop it off at the house befoerhand. Can't imagine anyone wanting to lift a fridge/freezer into a car after a knees up - only joking!

Have a nice time.

Thanks for your help.
I've been to 8 (yes, 8) weddings in the last few months and most of them had set up an on-line present ordering system with for example, Debenhams or JLewis. They then delivered the presents.

However, we always took a card with us and there was always a card table where some people had placed small presents (those that chose not to go off the list). We bought them down at the beginning of the evening reception. That seemed pretty much the 'done' thing at the 'done' time but every wedding's different I guess!!! Good luck
We would always bring them to the house before the wedding, a lot of people have an "open house" a few days or week before so that people can come and view the presents
I usually attach the card to the present so that if the little gift card string becomes detached they will still know who the present is from.
yes, sending a card shows a beautiful gesture and you can add beautiful quotes and wishes to it before sending it to your cousins. it will make them feel happy. However, you can also get pre-designed cards from here that will help you https://www.buraqprintables.com/thank-you-card-templates/
