is there a cheaper way to get sky plus without having to pay for the box?

any discounts of anything on at the minute?

just blag it..fon them and tell them you are going to cancel your sky subscription because its too expensive and you can get freeview anyway...they will ask you a series of questions...hold on until the very end of conversation and then ask if they any deals on sky +...they will offer you deal for �49 (prob) then offer you to put some of it on your credit card=say u dont have one...eventually you will be offered a reburf box and install foc, well we were and its fantastic but hold your nerve until the end of the conversation as long as you can...good luck
