where can i download free skins to get rid of the boring grey bit at the top of my screen? nothing too fancy or specific, sunsets or flowers or kittens will do me fine ,when i google it i get these sites where you have to pay and you get x box or sci fi things ,anyone help?

sorry beebrook i'm running windows xp,on my old pc i had a beautiful sunset scene which i got from incredimail as a freebie ,but now all their skins are now only available if you join at a cost of �20.00 or so

There are loads of free Theme sites but some of them have dodgy connections to the sleazier side of the net..There's an excellent programme for free called McAffee Site Advisor..It places a small warning tab above your clock and calendar area in the taskbar and shows up "green" for safe sites and "red" for the nasties !! .Just type McAffee Site Advisor into your favourite search engine and it will list all the download sites or go direct to Mcaffee at http://www.mcafee.com . Then when you're trawling around for themes...at least you'll be pointed to the safest .....Regards ...Ed

Yes you're right beebrook.

That's a great looking site that Ethel gave, but Site Advisor suggested it may contain adware and other nasties so not to download.
