I am not yet a member of ebay but i am concerned by howthe selling works. If i have agreed to sell to a bidder, how do i get the package to him or her? What happens here then?

you post/courrier it to them of course, or if its stuff like furniture you can specify buyer collects in the listing (although that will cut potential bidders down to those people who live in your area usually)
You need to work out how much postage and packing will be before you list your item and add it to the listing. The winning bidder pays the p&p costs as well as the amount for the item. For things too big to post you need to list as pick up only and the listing shows your location so people know how far away from them you are.

To work out the cost I use this website to give an accurate UK amount www.royalmail.com.
The ebay selling pages allow you to list a UK amount and to send elsewhere, charges on application.
Bidders often send emails saying how much to send to USA etc. Again royal mail website will give the amount to charge.
After the bidding ends you click on a button to send winner an invoice. They will respond and at that time you will see their address.
