why do so many people pay more for something used on ebay, that they get brand new and cheaper (or only a fraction more) in the shops?

i think ebay is quite a dictive once you get started! Once i ordered one thing i couldnt stop ordering! you start off aiming to get sumin super cheap, but when you start bidding with other members and your losing you cant stop yourself putting in a bid! its mad! i dont use it anymore! lol i became quite broke!

it means i dont have to go to the shops so i am happy to always buy online

i used to go on ebay all the time and like its been said before, you end up paying alot more than you want to for something and end up re-selling it, the amazon shop is good for most things at a fraction of the costs

i have seen and sold some things myself, that are still availible in the shops to buy for less than people are bidding for an old one. i have to admit once i start bidding i do think "your not gonna beat me!!" and pay more than i would have liked
