!!!! Smelly Leather Bag !!!!

I don't know if this is the right section,but hey ho....!

I bought a lovely dark brown leather holdall bag off ebay, arrived yesterday, but has a very strange musky smell to it. I have cleaned the inside out and rubbed down with Mr Sheen leather wipes, but the smell is still lingering!

Any suggestions on how to get this smell out, can you use Mr Sheen furniture polish or will that ruin the leather?

Bicarbonate of Soda is very good at absorbing smells. See here:-
