Sportsworld had 'Dunlop' cases a few weeks back, really sturdy and good prices. Big range of sizes, all half price! They even had the cabin sized trolley bag to match.

I don't think that having a bashed up suitcase is necessarily a bad thing. If you get a new one its going to start getting scratched as soon as you start to use it.

Don't spend a lot - I spent over �100 on a Samsonite hard case only to have it come off the carousel after a 1 hour flight with a huge scratch all the way across it!
