Smart Casual is always a hard one. Definitely no jeans or t-shirts without collars for guys No business suits either.

I agree, no jeans or trainers. When I started my current job, we were told "smart casual" for our first day. Most people turned up in smart trousers and shirts. The women wore heels, and the men did not wear ties
