Fancy Dress

Sorry if this is the wrong topic but I didn't know where else to put it. I have an 18th on Saturday night and it's fancy dress but it's pop star fancy dress. I don't know what to go as!! Everyone seems to be doing Amy Winehouse and originally a group of us were going to go as the Pussycat Dolls or the Moulin Rouge girls but we don't want to look tarty. Any ideas? Thanks =)

How about an older girl band like the Supremes? No tartiness there!

I went as Madonna in the Like a Virgin era to one party when I was about 10.

How about Cyndi Lauper? That could be fun! Depends how old you are though, I presume you're 18 too. If you are you and your mates might not know who that is!

cyndi lauper would be a good one but i also think that Moulin Rouge would be great, and it wouldnt be tarty as thats wot they wore, and there will be a few of you, hope you hae fun wotever you choose

If you have short hair, you could stick it up or slick it back and go as Annie lennox - or even David Bowie in his Ziggy days. If you have long hair, you could go as Cher (think of the outfits!!), or Madonna or Christina Aguilera.
