I'm up ! Actually I feel as if I have been up all night with that wind howling around and the rain ..it's dire out there ...is it me or is it them or is it the weather ....flickering pages and slow ..I keep repeating myself in Q&P !

Well I repeat myself anyway but don't like to do it in public .
Hope you are all OK and hope you had nice birthday Jno ..not exactly the weather for Pimms on the lawn though !
Have a good day everyone ...such as it is ..
Morning, possums, I know you want the weather: It's been a bright, sunny day. How I'd love to have a balcony, I think I'd get myself a sleeping bag and snuggle up in it, out there.

Forgot to say yesterday Robinia, I love "Drift away". / When are you getting your super puta? (I keep hearing ABBA's Super Trouper but with new lyrics ...Super Puter... lights are gonna find me )

Ah but I did get the sheep joke Vinny, I was just playing around with you not excluding present company. Am I not the one who when I was handing out badges for y'all a year or so ago gave you a beautiful one to this effect. But "cast asturgeons"... yep, you sure got me with that one! (Sorry if y'alls Google isn't working today, I've used it all up.) Is it a bird? No. Is it a fish? Could be, could be, if you put it through the de-devonizer... but if it's a saying about fish I still don't know what that saying means. Oh lord what am I doing with a bunch of foreigners! It's so weird, everyone here is a foreigner except me, isn't that odd. And unfair! So I've decided we can't put it off any longer: y'all gonna have to learn swedish now (The joke is it's based on homographs - makes us sound like cavemen. Ugh ugh blugh blugh.)

Aww sweet little hangover kitty, Neti. I've been trying to remember why you were so annoyed with one of your cats, way back, ('cos I remember saying you could ship it to me), but whatever it was is better now, right?

Well I did hear about parties where the host/ess ends up under the table but I thought they generally came out the next day? jno? don't you love us anymore?

PS I beg to differ with the opinion that Mika would be preferable over sheep.

Shaney say after me quickyly: Sex laxar i en laxask, sex laxar i en laxask...

...good! Anyone who can say that has a good sturdy liver!
Oi! Vinny! not the cows either! Scroll down just a little bit to the one that begins a welsh farmer has six sheep ...ha ha ha ha ha!

hahaha..is that the Sveedish version of ..The Leith Police Dismisseth Us ......
pip pip... I am orf to Egypt in the morning. Maybe I'll bring back photos... Who's the Mummy???
woah! just an Egyptian cotton pickin' minute jno...have you any idea how long it's taken me to tunnel my way in here & you're 'just popping off to the pyramids'??!!.....like we all do that every day? have a lovely time.....

just a quick hello/goodbye really folks, it's been mission almost impossible getting into AB & the sproutman gave up ages ago....
pssst, naughty Vincent told you the wrong phrase Kit...it's 'casting nasturtiums'.....

< quiet cackling>

<Nasturtiums...? This is getting weirder by the minute...> Casting nasturtiums? Sigh. Now she tells me - after I spent my fortune building this cutting edge state of the art de-devonizer ...well actually I built it with spare parts from an old liquidiser I wasn't using anymore... and I'll admit I needed her linguistic help - the de-devonizer was wind-powered and it wasn't the sprout kind of wind power either but the other kind and when the yokel started to jabber away... well the turbine had a nervous breakdown...

...so thank you Robinia for teaching me the correct phrase... you're a true friend... Now if you'll excuse me I'll just go and pluck some ASPERSIONS!!! (Two days! Two days it took me! And by tomorrow I'll have forgotten that word, and by Wednesday I'll have forgotten we even had an idiomatic discussion...! But I appreciate the evil cackle, giving your wicked self away!)

And you Shaney you did once promise to tell me about your dialect... ... I'm wai-ting...

Have a good trip jno. We shall be looking forward to the return of the mummy. I say, what an excellent disguise for you, it's that much better than your old paper bag;-)

(Busy day ahead, see y'all when I see y'all.) (Sorry should this post turn up twice - there's something wrong with the old AnswerBank again.)
Morning all - jno that's right - get me legless on your garden party and then swan off, I know who my friends are. Anyway, have a good time in Egypt, I've always wanted to go there, maybe one day.

Robinia are you really having probs, I can't access my profile, but that's all, hope to see you on here soon.

Kit the problem I have with Charlie mylovely cat, is that he's a male and he sprays to mark territory and it stinks, so he's not allowed in too often and yes he's been neutered. Not doing at the moment but I never know when he'll decide to!
mORNING.
Blimey jno's orf again...have you got fleas in yer knickers or sumfink.
hahahaha that a teach the danes to buy an ikea windmill..hehe..!
just got me paper and some show off done the moonwalk outta the shop...ooops i left me skateboard outside....(:O)
right must rush over and clean that paint off the new bridge in Barnstabubble...dont want the jacksons thinking we got giant shi$$ehawks...later dudes....(:O)
top o' the morning to ye....
tis my day, to be sure

well it is me
spot the difference

I seem to have every other nationality so there must be some Irish in there somewhere....could do with a bit o' their luck. It's a lucky one for Charlie, the dog groomer's postponed...he lives to sleep peacefully another day.

crikey Sweedie, who kitapulted you out of your Ikea pit so early?
It has been estimated that one in 10 Europeans are conceived in an Ikea bed..... I think the other nine were conceived in the queue...

Yes neti I really, really couldn't get on here last night....tut....would I lie?
24.3 million.....nope, not my winnings, it's that Mills' woman's payout, I'd like to think that's the last we'll see & hear.....but I very much doubt it.

is it just me or don't batteries seem to last as long as they used to?

Question Author
Oh start again ......grr ..the batteries on here don't seem to last very long either ..I gave up earlier ,it's like watching paint dry .
Hope you are all OK ..looks like we are in for a chilly Easter .
Have a lovely time Jno don't worry about us .
We'll be fine shivering over our Easter Eggs while you contemplate the Riddle of the Sphinx :)
Snow! Covering the ground and still coming down. How odd.

I've been looking for the IKEA joke to end all other IKEA jokes but I'll have to say I think Vinny and jno already did that with the IKEA coffin... Btw did you know that the name is an acronym for the founder Ingvar Kamprads name and address where he lived when he first started the business. If you're ever looking for a spooky experience you should do what I did and go to IKEA the day before Christmas - no children conceived in that queue, I think there were perhaps a hundred people in the entire building, it was like that Gregory Peck film On the Beach.

Aww Robinia you were so cute when you were a kid, <kit thinks to herself: so where did things go wrong> I've saved your other two childhood photos as well and can't help but chuckle at them whenever I'm in that folder, you always looked as if you we're plotting something. However, St.Patty's Day is over and if we're allowed to institute our own holiday well then here I go: today's my day (Never heard of him? He's Swedish.)

Btw Robinia did you ask Tarquin about graphic tablets? I was reading about a new kind, I'll see if I can find that article again.

Hey Jude, whazzup girl?

Gosh - it's slow opening up today!

Hope you are all ok - off to have my brekkie now.
Is it really slow, Neti, or are you just saying so...;-) (I couldn't get back in that day either so I think our Robinia was for once telling the truth;-)

;-) means don't beat me.
