Hi Vinny! A living soul!
They've got avatars there... on that other site. (I never got over not being able to upload mine.) Would anyone go through all that trouble just to... what? Are the passwords even viewable to the editors of a site? I don't know... On the other hand, if it's authentic, that's very strange too. Ed seems very active on there, viewing this and viewing that.
Ghostly day today in many ways - I've been editing a photo of my friend I told you about who speaks with spectres and who's been to Stansted Hall several times to train as a medium. I inverted her picture to make her look like the ghost, ha ha, she'll think that's funny when she sees it on her Facebook. Don't know what's happened to the rest of the biddy spirits... I think Woofy's probably been farted to death. Neti had her breakfast and she just disappeared... and Charlie the dog hasn't been on either, he's probably taken his mistress to the groomer's as it was cancelled yesterday. Maybe they're getting square nails and claws, he he he.
moo

Oh look, they're not done yet, well that's the explanation for that, then. Nah we couldn't split up, we're like that book, I've forgotten the title... an old book, true story, about a lady (American?) who exchanges letters for twenty? years with a book dealer (British?) until... one of them dies, I suppose! Don't remember the story too well, I think I read an abridged version of it in my dad's Reader's Digest as a child. What's the name of that book, I've been trying to remember, do you know it?
Have to tell you, one of my earliest memories is singing "She loves you yeah yeah yeah, she loves you yeah yeah yeah" - just that phrase, over and over again. I remember myself standing alone in the rain in the backyard looking at a downspout and singing that phrase, weird memory but crystal clear.

Good midday possums! I'll have you all know we have some excellent music over here too - biddies (don't wait for the fun to begin though, it doesn't get any funnier than them digging around in their handbags, as we biddies do.) I don't know, Vinny - can I have Billy Connolly and the rest of the biddies can take Billy Cotton? (I saw Connolly on Parkinson and fell like a ton of bricks.)
Are you active on the regular AB ChatterBank as well, Neti? I just go there to eavesdrop when something catches my attention in the recent posts column >> but just when I start to think "well that person seems nice", "that person" comes at the others with a sledgehammer. Sometimes I wonder if the ChatterBank serves as some kind of I grew up in an abusive family and I need to relive it to understand what the f*** happened to me-therapy. But I do get that there are many nice ones on there as well, I just wish people would stick to one alias and not confuse me with a hundred.
When I turned my radio on this morning they were playing that tune Robinia admires (not) the lyrics of, Chasing Pavements. Just after that one they played another song which has the crappiest lyrics I have ever heard:
I was slicing up an avocado
when you came up behind me
with your quiet brand new sneakers
your reflection I did not see
...and I'm so proud to tell you the singer/songwriter is Swedish. He is in fact quite popular with young folk, and me I just don't get it! I'll let you judge for yourselves if you're in the mood to throw another three minutes of your lives away (after that biddies with the handbags clip). Here, you tell me.
slicing up whatever

That's okay Neti, considering our age we're all probably more or less on Deaf Row. Hey I got you a pressie - it's a peg pen if you didn't know!
Robinia I found some great info for you regarding graphic tablets but I'm not posting it until you show up (as I don't know if you're able to read this, I guess your new SupaPuta could be playing a trick on you - if you've got it yet?)
Snowing again, I must face it or starve...

here I is....no coiffuring for either of us, just had a bad, bad day....clothes on, clothes off.....NO Vinny none of that, just feverish & horrible, must be some lurgy or sommink....The stupid thing is, the worse I feel, the more I drag myself about doing 'stuff'. I did a pile of washing & nearly keeled over pegging it out...it's that thing that if I'm gonna die I want to leave the place respectable, haha.
Enjoyed all of your music. Billy Cotton...ee by gum, that takes me back. Russ Conway & Winifred Attwell on the ole joanna...but ooooooh nooo, Peter & Gordon!! <hands over ears. That reminds me of going to a birthday party two doors down & in those days you were lucky if you had a record player & more than half a dozen records, so it was played over....and over....and....
I obviously went heavy on the trifle 'cos I actually feel nauseous when I hear that, hahaha.
I know what you mean about songs putting you back in a time & place....this is the song from the time I knew life was gonna change , big time...
YO
You're spot on about CB Kit I sneak in sometimes whether they like it or not....
