I recently requested a free sample of moisutiser and have now been sent a full size bottle which I didn't want along with a hefty invoice. Anyone had any experience of this company? If I post them back I'm concerned that they may disappear and Ill have to pay anyway.

In any case the law is on your side. Under the Distance Selling Regs any goods bought by post can be returned for a full refund for any reason whatsoever within 7 days.
Tell the company you are returning it, and send it back by recorded delivery (adds 65p to the cost of postage).

I came across them years ago. They're ok but they offer free samples of stuff and in the small print it states that they'll send you further supplies - usually once a month - for which they invoice you.
You have to write to them to tell them you no longer want anything and they obviously take advantage of the fact that most people don't read the small print or, if they receive goods with an invoice, will pay it rather than return it.
If you don't want it send it back with a letter cancelleing all further orders. Send it recorded delivery to be certain and check the address as some mailings state a different address for returns than the one blazoned across their order envelopes or advertising literature.
In my experience they don't persist so you should be ok.

Thanks for your replies. I can't believe I didn't notice it was Silkies as I've had the problem with tights in the past. The small print must be very, very small. The invitation to the free sample came on a postcard which you filled in and returned post free, Beware folks. I'm going to return the goods and the free sample with a letter and send it recorded delivery.
