can anyone advise me which is the best memory mattress to use with a slatted base. my husband has severe arthritus, we have a relyon full memory foam deluxe at the moment but it is faulty and my huisband keeps rolling to the edge
i looked long and hard when buying ours as i have a bad back and wanted the best one to help relieve pressure points, and although it is the dearest ( in some places not by too much, so shop around )the tempur one was a lot, lot better than the cheaper versions.Had it 2 years now and have never regretted a penny of what it cost.best advice would be to go to shops and try them all, also the tempur website has an option to try one at home for a while, if you dont like it they wll take it back :-)
We have a Tempur and as someone who has back pain and for years has woken up with stiff, sore joints, I can say, since sleeping on the Tempur mattress, I no longer wake up in pain.
We purchased a Superking size, but got it from a bed shop, not directly from Tempur, so it did work out a bit cheaper.
Tempur come in a number of different depths of actual tempur memory foam, The deeper the foam, the more expensive. For the basic 15cm Tempur mattress in a double size, you would be looking at paying about 1100. If you shop around, you may find them slightly cheaper from retail suppliers.
