...just had a thought, is the item you're wanting to buy from argos also in homebase (part of the same group)? you're more likely to find discounts for homebase (look on ebay for people selling them, i've never once seen an online code freely distributed), or worst case wait til 10% day. i've just cancelled an order for a sofa with argos because i came across a 20% voucher to use instore at homebase!!
