I recently ordered a jamo ipod speaker station from an internet company called easyishop.co.uk. No problems at first, in stock said would be delivered within 5 days. Trouble is item never arrived. I was only able to contact the company via a chat facility on their website. They said Royal Mail had lost the item and that they no longer had a replacement in stock. I insisted on a refund and they agreed and said it would clear into my account within 5 days. This did not happen. Have since spoken to them and they say that the refund has been issued and will clear soon, but as of yet this has not happened. I am getting slightly concerned that I may have been scammed and was just wondering if anyone else had experienced similar problems with this company. Would very much appreciate any comments. Vanessa

Nicholson's mode of operating is always the same - accept money for goods, claim that the goods have been sent but have been lost in the post, accept that a refund needs to be made but delay making it. It is becoming clear that he probably runs a Ponzi -like scheme in that he convinces people to buy goods which he either never supplies or sends out only half an order. This scam needs to be stopped. If this isn't a scam Nicholson, then take me to court.
Hi Birdie,
I have also had the same thing with Micro Haven Store. Still have had no joy in contacting them. I bought a wacom tablet form them and it was never delivered. The horrible part is that I bought it on my South African Credit card and not it is such a mission to get my money back. I have to go through my bank? Surely they should just give me my money back? For everyone else, Check before you buy online!!!

Just shopped with tabletworld.co.uk and thought I should share my experience.
I had feared the worst when reading this article - which was 1 day after I had made the payment to tablet world. I immediately chased up an email to them demanding a tracking code so I could monitor the product and see that it was real, along with openly telling them that I thought it was a scam after reading this forum. Within an hour I received an email back from a James Dickinson, with a tracking code, appologising for the bad PR, and assuring me everything was ok.
That was yesterday. Today at 10.30am my package arrived as was stated on my tracking code, and am more than happy with the whole process.
My summary is this:
I was extremely sceptical of tabletworld.co.uk after reading up on this forum and multiple others. I am a CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) by trade so did some snooping about to find out as much info as I could about them, even back to the email client they use and account name for their support emails - cerq or something to that effect, with the username Micro Heaven (Which alarmed me).
However upon dealing with James, and receiving my product on time (3 working days), and with a little more snooping around I've discovered that the previous owners were the ones to watch out for and these new guys seem to have bought over all the companies.
Don't rule them out off the batt due to faults caused by previous owners as my experience was pleasant and prompt.
