hi everyone not sure if anyone has any ideas but my son and his girfriend are getting married in the spring and as they have been together for quite a while they already have a home with everything they need but as with most young couples money is tight and we are all trying to help out, is there a polite way of requesting money instead of wedding gifts as this would be a great boost to their start as a married couple, maybe someone has some ideas of a rhyme or verse that could be inserted into the invitations, thanks in advance for any advice
saras right, cash isnt the right thing to ask for.
if there is something specific that they would like cash for, like some DIY or something then perhaps they can say that and request vouchers for a certain store.
Id not want to give cash that will probably just get used to pay for the wedding.
