Different prices...

I know that shops can sell stuff at whatever price they want but it must be maddening to buy something one day only for it to be in the sales the next. (I'v done that loads of times.
However this week my dishwasher packed up so I got another one from Boots online. On Monday when I ordered it at 9am it was 239 by 6pm it was 272 today it is 269. Maybe it was 225 or something last week :) and I missed a real bargin lol
I wonder if they put a different price on it depending on how many people buy them? a bit like the low cost airlines?

My partner regularly shops at a well known high street fashion store, who will refund an item (purchased within the last 7days tags still on), no questions asked. On a number of occasions she has returned an item (paid for at full price), and purchased the identical item in the shops sale.

Oh your friend is my worst type of customer Hymie, that sort of buying habit is what leads to job losses and store closures. it may be a case of an individual saving a few pounds but those few pounds may lose the store their weeks target, then the staff hours have to be cut. It may sound an extreme scenario but trust me it is just what is happening.
