I sold a pair of UGG boots last week and still haven't recieved payment. I opened an 'unpaying bidder' case about two days ago and the buyer still hasn't replied.
I will probably end up closing the case because of no communication with the buyer. This means that I'll get a Final Value Fee credit and the buyer will get an Unpaid Item strike - but what is a final value fee credit?
Does this mean I will be charged for selling the item even though...i haven't?
I dont think my item was over-priced 53 for a pair of genuine new in box UGGS?
Please help me out I'm really confused!

That happened to me when in December when I was selling some tickets for a gig I couldnt attend. The buyer pulled out just cos they changed there mind! How annoying!!
Basically you only get a refund if your item is relisted and actually sells. And you still need to pay your insertion fees.
And contacting them to complain is a whole other story in itself .

The final value fee credit is a refund of the final selling fee ebay charged you when the item "sold".
As to the listing fees you paid when you started the listing, these are never refunded.
But if you relist the item and it sells on that first relisting then you get the insertion fee you paid for the relisting refunded. However, if you paid any other listing fees for the relisting - for extras like additional pictures - then you don't get those fees refunded.
