Can you get accidental damage insurance for sunglasses? I've seen some I really like, but they're 99 and rimless. If they got damaged or broken I wouldn't be very happy...

you might be covered under you household insurance, but most have a 50 or 100 excess so it's often not worth it for a (relatively) low price item
You would be covered for them in the house for accidental damage (although the excess would apply). Outside the house if you wanted them covered you will normally have to pay extra with most companies (incase they are lost or stolen). Your best bet would actually be to buy 2 pair, and keep one at home in your top drawer until u lose/scratch/break the other ones. Probably cheaper too.
www.endsleigh.co.uk i got insurance for items i take out of the house from these guys, cost about 10 pounds a year and has quite a small excess payment (tho i can't quite remember what it is now)
