What exactly IS groupon...and what sort of offers do they give? I'd like to know before I sign up,and going to their site provides no information without signing on.

basically it's offers in your area. I have signed up, but have nevber bought any as they are usually restricted to a certain day/have a short life or are for things i dont want (the other day it was an offer on colonic irrigation)
