Burn 'em.
No point burning them now BOO.

I understand all the moral reasons for not wearing them but the animals died a long time ago and they would keep somebody very warm!
Yes there is ummmm, whilst there's a demand for fur, people will sadly still buy them. I personally find it somewhat repellant in making money from such a product too.

This is of course just my personal opinion :-)
I'm with B00 on this one. we're not eskimos and no one needs to wear fur.
You will be very lucky to get anyone to buy them(even a private sale) given the attitude to fur nowadays.
i think even most Charity Shops won't touch them.
I don't think it's when the animals died that matters to folk,it's why/how they died,AND the reaction they would get in the street if they wore them.
A friend of mine cut hers up and made very nice warm cushion covers from them.
I agree with the sentiments....but it happened a long time ago. Plus it wasn't what the OP was asking. She hasn't asked for our moral stance on it...

you might find that a vintage shop would want to buy them from you
or failing that, pinkilady might buy them off you!
No problems on ebay buying or selling vintage mink
there are a few on Ebay going at about £150.
I had to give my mother's minks to one of her friends when she died, even the charity shops wouldn't take them. You could try ebay.
god, arent those horrible? LOL

They really do look like dead cats (probably some of them are!) slung round their shoulders.

Sorry gwnethc, i know you didn't ask for a personal opinion, but lookin at the price of those monstrocities, most people would probably prefer a thick, anorak for about a third of the price wouldn't they?

I had a coney fur coat with a silk lining in the late 1970s, warmest coat I ever had loved it, my mate had a Fox fur that her mum had given her, we used to go out round Llantwit in them with our velour cords and silk blouses with huge sleeves and collars, we were fashionistas in a big way back then lol Farrah Fawcett hair bleached blondes we were, gawd I miss the glamour : (
