Afternoon Tea

My hen night is booked for April next year. We had planned to take a limo to london, see Dirty Dancing and after tea at The Ritz.
As it was heading towards Chrismas and to save everyone paying out up front, we booked theatre last month, was due to book Ritz this month and book Limo in Jan.
However now ive finally placed my booking The Ritz say they can no longer fit us in!! So i have tickets for theatre but nowhere to have afternon tea now :(
So now have a mad panic trying to find something else similar and around £35 per head otherwise have to ring my 10 friends and call it all off!!
Any ideas or recommendations?

Try Claridges, The Dorchester, Fortnum & Mason's St James Restaurant or the Waldof (this one very near the Aldwych).

Ah fab thanks everso much. I have contacted The Dorchester and they have been really helpful, and still have space to fit us all in. Panic over :)

Happy New Year Cars. If you haven't paid any money up front yet, The Wolsely - a close neighbour of the Ritz - is a very trendy, upmarket place for tea. It used to be the Wolsely car showroom. Its where all the beautiful people go - and they even let me in on my 60th birthday for tea with the family.
