David Icke, is he actually sane?
58 Answers
I think most people find him a bit of a fruit cake but is he actually sane?
Reptilians Etc, where does he find this stuff, is it all in his imagination?
Is it any more or less believable than the God theory?
Ramblings of a madman?
Does he have supporters in this theory, I have never heard anybody else talk of this nonsense.

I don't for a second think he actually believes any of the rubbish he spouts, he has just hit on a very clever money making scheme and he plays up to it. He knows that the more outrageous the statements and claims he makes the more cash he will rake in, the more publicity he gets the more cash he makes.

weecalf - that rationale has been used by 'organised' religion for hundreds and hundreds of years. Despite there not being even the tiniest scrap of evidence for the existence of a greater being, there are millions and millions who believe.
Icke is no different to L Ron Hubbard. Hubbard said (paraphrasing) that the easiest way to get rich was to invent a religion, so he came up with Scientology with all its weird ramblings - and a short 50 or so years later the 'Church' of scientology is ludicrously rich.
Icke is doing the same thing, albeit on a smaller (at the moment) scale.
Are Icke's and Scientology's ridiculous claims any less believable than the ridiculous claims of any of the organised religion? No, I don't thank they are

>>a useful rule of thumb is that if he's richer than you are he's smarter than you are.<<
or maybe unscrupulous, callous, uncaring, bent.
A very big flaw in that comment jno. apart from that do you really think that everybody's lives revolve around money, mine certainly doesnt, I would like a bit more money certainly but I would lower my ethical or moral standards to get it.
So im sorry, a rather silly comment.
