1.I used to work in Haarlem in Holland and met Keith Stansfield, the father of Lisa.
I went to his daughter's concert in The Hague.
To her face she is just a nice young lady, girl next door type from Lancashire, but on the stage with the music, the band and the lighting, she was transformed into a goddess. She got a standing ovation from the audience with her son "All around the world"
2. I was once invited to a fancy dress party by Anton Vordeman, the
brother of Carol Vordeman, the erstwhile Countdown presenter. The booze and food flowed freely into the early hours of the morning. He is a very generous man. At that time he built computers and he held the party at his premises so the music could be played loudly as all the other offices were closed.
