Ok - so that's no doubt an exception and I'm sure there are plenty of people from the Faaaaaarest who AREN'T inbred, but one woman I worked with was dating her cousin.  Need I tell you where they were from!? :-p

To be fair to Foresters, they're rapidly becoming more cosmopolitan these days as more and more outsiders move in. But there are still pockets around Cinderford that haven't mixed with an outsider for centuries! And I'm sure that the Berry Hill rugby team is just one family!

I'm with you there slimjim!  It's the looks you get when you drive through Newent that scare me.  It's like they just KNOW your number plate isn't "local".  Your right though, some outsiders have been allowed in, and they do go out sometimes.  My Mum had a training day at work led by a man from the Faaaaarest who was telling them all about the problems with his urine.  (My mother works in tourism not nursing!!!).  As Slim and lovely user over the page whose name escape me but I think it's Tonk(or Tork or Tolk) will understand - he ACTUALLY meant his HEARING.  Took us a while though!! LOL!

i live in Norwich and answered the phone at work the other day and one of my colleagues (male) said - "I wont be in today as I'm sick" - I asked him "How sick are you", He said "We'll I'm in bed with my Sister"
