What a funny question !
.... in all seriousness, would guess it'd have to be an island where there's little population movement and therefore not much choice in prospective mates ! Having said that, I'm sure that these days, many younger people facing that prospect would move to the mainland .... hence the decline of many island communities.
Think I'm right in saying that in many islands, there are often only 5 or 6 "families" & it's not therefore uncommon for more distant relatives, e.g. cousins to marry.
