 bernardo .Since passing 30 I've not been so bothered about my own birthdays, because I don't particularly want to be sent token bits of cardboard or bulky presents that I don't want which only get in the way.  But I still like sending birthday cards to other people I care about.  Sometimes I also send birthday cards to people for their half-birthdays (e.g. 27 1/2) or their thousand-birthdays (e.g. 8000 days old).

If we have to have a standardised birthday for everybody, I think it should be 26th November.
