Bit of a random one but is there another way of finding out if there have been any road accidents in your area and how many and where they took place, other than the live road updates?

Our local paper has issued the amount locally after one young lad got killed recently, high numbers regards the young, this lad was over the drink limit, I think it's about time the Government took a very serious look at this, it's happening every day & in every town, I have said many times, if the young have just passed their Driving test & caught speeding within the first 6 months an instant ban & to be made to re sit their driving test, more than likely the do gooders on here will disagree.
