allowed to stay, he is stirring up hatred between Sunni and Shia Muslims,
why would he buy a place effectively in the middle of Midsomer land, which seems strange in itself. Granted asylum and brings this kind of nonsense to our shores,
He fled his own country because they didn't like what he was saying. We take him in and he proceeds to cause trouble here. Why is he allowed to stay? Because we're stupid.
why can't they shut him down,
if he is a hate preacher, and if this was against Britain and British citizens, would the powers that be say the same, its madness if he is stirring hatred with attacks on Muslims not of his belief system
Sheikh Yasser al-Habib bought £2million base in Fulmer last year
Ofcom has now confirmed he is allowed to broadcast hate-filled sermons stirring up enmity between Sunnis and Shias
He fled his own country because they didn't like what he was saying. We take him in and he proceeds to cause trouble here. Why is he allowed to stay? Because we're stupid.
If his sect ever become powerful in his own country our hospitality will be remembered and rewarded. France did the same, provide sanctuary, for the Ayatollah Khomeini during his exile.
Why was he allowed to turn the church into a mosque, who granted him planning? Whoever did you can bet, does not live in the village. Is the Parish council at fault?
I read about this in another paper. Apparently he bought a disused village hall - not a church - and I imagine the District Council would have given permission for change of use. As far as I'm aware, Parish Councils don't have such powers.
Full marks for drama, AoG :) I am loving this phrase of yours,
"And so the Islamic web continues to spread over sleepy England."
I am surprised they were able to get permission to build a mosque; I had thought churches and places of worship were built based around local demand, and I hardly think Fulmer and Gerards Cross was in crying need of a mosque.
Not really bothered about him though. Much of his criticisms about Shias I would agree with; The only difference being that I would be critical of Sunnis too.
I would be more bothered if he was receiving state benefits of any kind though.
what i cannot understand is why he chose that location, its not as though it's in Birmingham, or even London, and why the local police haven't had a word, if this man is preaching hatred against fellow Muslims, this message is going world wide, why are they not shutting him down.
Canary, people on AB have opinions, they are allowed to express them as they see fit, most do not advocate violence, most actually want the opposite, peace in our country, sadly some of the adherents of Islam don't want that, not just in Britain but across the globe. Christianity has a lot to answer for, so i don't favour one over the other, however the problems in the last number of years in this country have been caused by fanatical Muslims.
